WINNSBORO TRAIN DEPOT
Years ago, the Hospitality / Visitor's Center was a log cabin type building on the Depot lot, at the southeast corner of Main and Broadway. The Depot was eventually renovated and restored, largely with funding from Winnsboro Economic Development Corporation, and a parking lot was upgraded. The building currently houses the city's Main Street program, the Assistant Director for Economic Development, and a meeting / classroom / event area. Future plans include a more permanent museum for the city's history preservation efforts.
